En formation à l'École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon (spécialisation en photo, dessin et techniques de l’image), Eléonore Litim rencontre l'estampe grâce à des artistes de l’Atelier Alma (Sylvie Maurice, Édouardo Ponce et Christine Crozat). Dès cette époque, elle oriente ses recherches plastiques autour de la technique de la taille-douce, du dessin et des techniques photographiques... Après les beaux-arts et le prix Linossier de gravure en 1991, elle fait un cursus d’archéologie avant de s’investir pleinement dans la transmission des techniques graphiques, à travers des formations et des ateliers pour des publics variés notamment au Musée de l'imprimerie et de la communication graphique.  Elle mène en parallèle un travail de création.

During her training at the Fine Arts school in Lyon (specialization: photography, drawing, printmaking), Éléonore Litim discovered the printed image thanks to artists of the Atelier Alma in Lyon. From this time onwards, she has been directing her research on the process of copperplate printing, on drawings, and on the techniques and technologies of photography. She was awarded the Linossier prize for engraving in 1991. She then went on to study archaeology before committing herself entirely, for the last twenty years, to the transmission of graphic techniques for a broad public (children, adults, deaf), through training sessions and workshops, especially at the Lyon Printing Museum.
