Ecole d'été 2020 - Programme et inscriptions

La prochaine école d’été de l’Institut d’Histoire du Livre se tiendra à Lyon du Lundi 29 Juin au Jeudi 2 Juillet 2020.

Elle proposera 4 cours en français autour de la thématique de « La Valeur des livres » :

- Prix du livre et valeurs de la bibliophilie (XVIe-XIXe s.). Par Yann Sordet (Bibliothèque Mazarine)
- Rabelais tel qu’en ses livres. Par Romain Menini (Université Paris-Est) et Olivier Pédeflous (Institut de recherche et d'histoire des textes)
- La construction de la valeur des livres d’Heures (XVIIe-XXe s.). Par Fabienne Henryot (ENSSIB)
- Dévoiler les faux : L’authentification des ouvrages grâce à l’expertise bibliographique. Par Dominique Varry (ENSSIB)

Conférence inaugurale : Le prix des livres à Venise (XVe-XVIe s.). Par Neil Harris (Université d'Udine)

Le tarif d’inscription à l’école est de 400 euros (Tarif Normal) ou de 250 euros (Tarif Etudiants et Doctorants). Le paiement peut s’effectuer par virement bancaire ou en ligne.

L’inscription à l’école comprend la participation à la conférence inaugurale de Neil Harris, le lundi 29 juin au matin, et à un cours au choix parmi les quatre proposés, qui se tiendront du lundi 29 juin 14h au jeudi 02 juillet 17h30.

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for this year’s Lyon Book History Workshop (29 June-2 July 2020).
 
The Lyon Book History Workshop’s main purpose is to improve skills in the interpretation and understanding of specific fields relating to our written and printed heritage. Each course is taught by a leading international expert in the field, with emphasis on the study of original heritage documents held at the Lyon Printing Museum and at the Lyon City Library.
 
The workshop is organised by the Institut d’histoire du livre (IHL) founded in 2001, which brings together two major rare book and printing collections and three teaching and research establishments closely involved in the history of printing and of the book: Lyon City Library (BmL), Lyon Printing Museum, the Enssib (LIS university), the École nationale des chartes (ENC) in Paris, the Lyon 2 University and the École normale supérieure in Lyon.

This year, we will be offering four courses, in French, on the theme The value of Books :
 
Each course will consist of seminars and practical sessions, adding up to 20 hours of teaching time.

Inscription fees : 400 euros (250 euros for students and doctoral students). The fees include the provision of study materials and tea/coffee breaks. Meals and accommodation are not included.
